First licensed in 1977 while stationed at Moffett Field California as WD6DJB.
I was transferred in 1979 to Rota Spain and after 3rd party was signed operated as WD6DJB/EA7. I flew as an Air-crewman (Enlisted) in the Navy so was able to operate as KG4RS in 1979 and VQ9RS in 1980. From there I went to the great state of Maine and Became KB1AQ. 1988 found me back in Washington and changed to KF7QZ. I finally received my Extra and July 2002 I applied for and received N7HJ. My latest call sign came in Sept of 2005 as I never felt like N7HJ was mine, and I worked a lot of PSK (almost 90%) so I applied for and received W7PSK. I also Guest Operated at KG6DX (when Guam was KG6), A9XIJ and SV0AE.

The only contests I enter are  ARRL November Sweepstakes (Both CW and SSB) and sometimes DX Contests.

I just completed 8 Band WAS and 8 band digital WAS, Im working on CW and SSB now.

HARD CARD QSLS NOTE:  Im a little slow in Hard card QSL. I will send them 100% but  I print them in Batches of 4 by using the card stock supplied by http://www.hamstuff.com/ . its preferred card stock.  So I like to get about 10 sheets full before I QSL.  So Take heart I keep every card coming in and when I get a batch I print and send out.   IF YOU REALLY REALLY NEED it for an award or something let me know and Ill try to do a quick batch.

I have discovered 6 meters. During the weekend of 11-12 June 2011, I played in the ARRL VHF test giving my SteppIR a work out. So Im on my way to WAS 6 Meters. The count so far.

6 meter LOTW State count as of 14 March 2013.
