I have been licensed since 1960 when I started as KN8TVC in Euclid Ohio. I've had the usual time off periods for school, family and jobs but now in retirement I have time to play radio. I enjoy contesting,DXing, VHF and mobile contesting. I also have a collection of boat anchors mostly recreating stations I had as a novice and general in the 60s plus a few radios I just had to have! The current station includes an Elecraft K3 and ft1000mp as the second radio. The main amp is an AL-1500. I have antennas for 160 meters to 432MHZ. 160 is one of my favorite bands-especially during the winter in Ohio. I try to keep my log current in LOTW and will QSL via buro and direct mail with SASE.
