I have been licensed since 1970 and hold an Extra class. My interest is DXing, and Ihave been on 50+ DXpeditions, many as leader or co-leader.

I was on the K4M trip to Midway in 2009, and fortunate to be part of the management team. There were 19 hard working, highly skilled operators and I appreciated the experience of knowing and working with each of them. It was an awesome experience, and one of the highlights of my DXpeditions.

My latest trip was in 2012 to Swains Island NH8S, where I was co-leader of the DXpedition. It was another awesome trip with great operators where I made lasting friendships.

I am also part of the management team for Wake Island K9W, which takes place in October 2013. Another great crew of operators.

I am a menber of Southwest Ohio DX Assn. (SWODXA), Greater Cincinnati Amateur Radio Assoc. (GCARA), Dayton Amateur RadioAssoc. (DARA), the ARRL and the ARRL A-1 operator Club.

I received the SWODXA (SouthWest Ohio DX Assn.) DX-pedition of the Year Award twice-once for leading the 4O6DX trip in 2007, and once as a participant of the K4M Midway Island trip.

I have held the following calls or operated under then: J3K, J3A, K4M, ZF2NF, V47NF, WB8GEX/VP5, VP5VDL, WB8GEX/PJ7, VP5N, C6IOTA, C6AJR, A35EX, 3D2EX, TI5A, CY0AA, 4O6DX, WB8GEX/1J4, PJ2/W8GEX, C6DX, VP2EV (Oct.2000), KP2/W8GEX (Nov.2000), N8Z, TO5DX, KH4/W8GEX, KH8/W8GEX and NH8S.

I operate all bands and have comfirmed 340 countries for DXCC. Being an avid 60m operator, I send out a 60m DX Newsletter to promote activity on this band.
