Current station is a kit built Elecraft K3 and a kit built KPA-500.  I have a Cushcraft MA-5B on a tubular crank up tilt over tower.  I am currently refurbishing a Steppir 3 Element beam which will replace the MA-5B.

A Butternut HF-2V has been my project this winter although I have been unable to get it resonant on 160m so I finally took off the TBR-160 kit and am currently using it on 80m with four toploaded 25 wires attached.  I need 30 some countries on 160 and 80 to finish off DXCC there.  The rest of the bands (except 6m) are completed with just over 300 entities confirmed overall (mixed).

The latest addition here is the Elecraft KX3 (also kit built).  I am experimenting with a telescoping vertical (MFJ-1979) with two radials that I reel in/out of a fly fishing reel (kind of like the CrankIR idea for the radials).  That will work from 20m-6m.  I also have a MFJ 933-B loop tuner and I'm trying a few different sized loops made out of 3/8" copper tubing.  I should get 2 or 3 bands per loop size.  I hope to do some side by side WSPR measurements at 5W output to help me choose between the two.  Eventually plan to get some SOTA activity going.

Joe
