I have been around Amateur Radio my whole life as my Dad, the original W8SOL, was licenced
before I was born. I was licenced as a Novice around 1980 as KA8KBY. Upgraded to General
in 1983. A few months later I requested a call change and received N8FIF. Upgraded to
Advanced in 1984. Dad had passed and his licence had expired in 2004 so I applied for his call.
I retired from the local County Engineer's Office at the end of 2011. The "El Drecho" of 6/29/12
took down my old tower so the pic above is my new Universal HD21-60 tower with:

75/40/(160 loaded) meter Inverted Vees @ 54'
160 meter Inverted L @ 54'
Mosley TA-63NSP 6-20 meter beam @ 60'
M2 2M9SSB 2 meter @ 65'
M2 440-18 70 cm @ 68'
Comet CX-333 2m/1.25m/70cm vertical @ 70'
Also have a HyGain AV-620 6-20 meter vertical @ 17'

Radio gear at present is:

Yaesu FT-2000 on HF and 6 meters
Yaesu FT-736R on 2m and 70cm
Ameritron AL-80B for HF
RFconcepts 2-317 for 2m
TE systems 4410G for 70cm.
