W8YY is the station license for the Husky Amateur Radio Club at Michigan Technological University in Houghton, MI. We are active in HF nets, fox hunts, campus communication support, and many more activities. Please check out our extensive web page at: http://w8yy.resnet.mtu.edu/

Our club meetings are at least twice a month at 8pm on Thursdays in our shack on the 6th floor of Wadsworth Hall. See our website for upcoming meeting and event information.

We love to talk to anybody and everybody! We operate in most contests, so listen for us! We have several awards, such as WAS, WAC, and the Fugi satellite certificate, but we're always eager to earn more.
