Club call of the Sangamon Valley Radio Club. Our club station (currently under reconstruction following the Red Cross move to a new building) is located in the Red Cross Chapter House in Springfield, Illinois. We have a very active and current web site at svrc.org at which you can contact us and even join the SVRC. We meet the first Thursday of every month at the Red Cross building, 1045 Outer Park Drive, Springfield, IL.The doors usually open around 7 PM, the official meeting starts at 7:30 PM, and the program and/or social hour usually goes until 9 PM or so. We are now offering streaming web-casts of our meetings on the svrc.org website. We also offer ARRL V.E. Testing on the first Saturday morning of February, April, June, August, October, and December at the Red Cross building in Springfield, IL. Note about e-mails- K9WAV is now the trustee for this call, but W9EBK will handle e-mails until the everything is switched over.
