The United States education programs (federal) associated with the US Space Program (started in 1958) were a significant influence on the excellent education provided to me through my elementary and public secondary school education during 1960s. Those programs placed a strong emphasis on STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (How and Why Things Work!) that provided a solid foundation for my eventual techncial and management career (and radio hobby).

I consult for large global corporations (Fortune 1000) in North America, Europe and Pacific Rim with their business, finance, and technology issues. Amateur radio and the disciplines taught to me, by the mentors and "Elmers" in the 1960s and 1970s, contributed heavily to my past and current career success. I enjoy repairing radios, antennas, test/workbench equipment and normally listen (SWL) to the 40 meter band (broadcasters and all).I live in an antenna restricted location (no big DX arrays), but I still assist radio amateurs in their overall education in learning the "Art of Radio".
