Hello, name here is Jerry Robbins and I have lived in Tampa, Florida for over 40 years. My first ham license was in Illinois 1961 KN9EAW with a Eico 720 and a SX-111. My current ham station consist of a Kenwood TS-2000, Palstar AT1500DT antenna tuner, three MFJ antenna tuners, some Daiwa SWR meters (type HP and V), Heil GM5, PR-40, and PS-5 Headset with a W2IHY 8 Band EQ and EQPlus, Two Ameritron AL-80B amplifiers, Yaesu FT 450AT and VX-7R, my old Hallicrafter SX-111 receiver purchased in 1960, HTX-100 - 10M, Echolink, Fan dipole at 45 ft for 10, 15, 20, 40, and 80M, a Coment GP-15 for 6M, 2M, and 70CM and a home built 1935 Raytheon RK-20 tube night light.

My ham station also shares a spot in the computer and electronic equipment repair shop. I like to build and fix computers, repair old radios, TV's, and stereo amps just for the challenge, mostly for just family and good friends of family. They never pay for anything, so for some reason I seem to keep busy fix-n stuff. I'm a retired engineering manager from the Telecommunication and Aerospace industry, http://www.linkedin.com/pub/jerry-robbins/18/385/426 so what else would I do with my spare time besides fix stuff or be on the radio . Hi.

Why you ask have I lived in Florida so long and have a W9 call sign? It's a vanity call which was my uncle's "Gorgon Robbins"from 1935 to 1969 when he passed on to a better place. He was my mentor and the one who got me interested in Ham Radio in 1960, so when I saw his old call was available it became my way to thank him posthumously for being there helping me get started in Ham Radio.

73's to all who visit this page!
