WW2 Atlantic and Med theatres served on Convoys  as  Radio Telegrapher.\Member of the Royal Naval Amateur Radio Society RNARS nr 926 . I am one  of two Net Contollers for this  Royal Naval Net on 21.410 Mhz every Thursday Sat & Sundayt 1430 UTC. The other net controller on this net is Peter  HZ1PS Jeddah Saudi Arabia..Licensed amateurs are welcome aboard on this net . We receive many sister societies joining our net. .

The WW2 Royal Navy Cruiser pictured above  is the only cruiser of that era left in Europe. Name is HMS Belfast . She is permanently tied up on the Thames River near Tower Bridge London UK. She served on the Murmansk route to Russia besides guarding convoys she also conveyed food to the People of Murmask . To commemorate this kindness the Russian Government installed a New  Communications Tower which was rusting at the base.Nine installation engineers from ST. Petertsberg who were quatered on the Belfast  installed  the Tower and  connecting cables as tribute to this Famous Cruiser ..
