I was first licensed in 1962 as WV2ZWK in Gouverneur NY while a senior in high school. Never went any further then because school was more important than study for upgrading. In 1969 I learned that if you had not held a license for 2 years you could reapply for another novice. I then obtained WN2LUF and passed the general and advanced and just recently my Amateur Extra. I enjoy CW and the digital modes and am active on 2/440 and all the hf bands..
