VP5/WA2VYA from Providenciales Island in the Turks and Caicos Islands (IOTA NA-002, Grid Locator FL31) outside the CQ WW DX Phone Contests in October (1996-2003 and 2005-2013). 36,226 QSOs from VP5/WA2VYA 1996-2013 and 2086 in 2013, including 14 QSOs on 50 MHz with South America in 2013. From VP5/WA2VYA, I operate mostly CW on 160m, 80m, 40m, 10m and the WARC bands. I especially look for Asia and Oceania at my sunrise and sunset.
Part of VP5T team for the CQ WW DX Phone Contest (QSL VP5T via N2VW for 1995-2012, VP5T via WA3RHW for 2013). We have had a very enjoyable run, so far, with some subset each year of Jack (N2VW, our leader and mentor), Mike (W2OF); Ken (K2WB); Bruce (WA3RHW) and Tony (K4QE). We love visiting our host, Jody, VP5JM. This has been a really fun trip and contest experience.
