Advanced Eventing is a 3-day Equestrian competition, based on three disciplines of the early military horses. The 3 disciplines are, Dressage (precise footwork drills and formations), Cross-Country (up to 2 miles of jumps and obstacles, with a set time limit), and finally Show-Jumping (jumping over a series of rails, also with a set time limit). The 3 photographs shown are of our Advanced International competition horse, Collection Pass. He is an "off-the track" thoroughbred, ridden by International Rider, Kate Chadderton. We are hoping to get "Cole" in the Rolex in the 2014, season. The spotted Pony, is a Pony of the Americas. She is the reigning World Champion for the Mounted Pony Games, which was held in Chestow, Wales. Inky (Ink Spot) will be defending her title, again this spring in Chestow, with rider, Mackenzie Taylor, shown below. The Mounted Pony Games are a competition of speed and accuracy, requiring the horse/pony to act as one with the rider to pick up objects, or place them, at the fastest time possible. You can imagine the hand-eye coordination required, as well as the incredible riding skill, to be able to ride at a full gallop, slow down enough to pick up or place an object, and continue on to the next drill. You have to see it to believe it!!!!!!!
