I enjoy contesting and DXing. I work all bands from 160 mtrs to 10 mtrs including the WARC bands. CW is my favorite mode. I collect awards and am working on my CQ all counties award and 5BWAZ. Currently I have 2850 counties confirmed and 197 CQ zones.I enjoy QSLs and QSL all new DX QSOs 100%. I also collect IOTAs, DOKs, and grid squares. Am currently working on my JCC-600 and JCG-400 awards from the JARL. In 1996 I started chasing DX on 160 meters and currently have 78 countries worked. In 2000 I installed a rotary dipole for 80 meters on my tower and had so much fun that in 2001 I changed it to a 2 element yagi. Have spent many winter mornings working the 75/80 meter long-path into Europe and central Asia. I was first licensed in 1952 and got very active again starting in 1984. Today, retired, I am on the air daily. See you in the pileups.
