I was first Licensed as WN6LIE. Growing up as a teen in the East SF Bay Area, operating QRP with Heathkit HW-7 QRP rig. Sure was FUN! Now a days, hi-tech has taken over, so I have many interests in Computers and RF! Always enjoy Field Day, and have done so since before I got my HAM ticket. Will look for you on Field Day, but you won't hear me as WA6LIE. There is W6LIE and other LIE stations active, and I am always a Dupe.... don't figure! HI June 2007 I did use my callsign! No LIE dupes.. Luv em log'n programs! Look for me on HF and on the VHF/UHF satellites. I am on ISS quite a bit. I also have a SATGATE Station uplinking ISS packet data to www.ariss.net. My favorite band has to be 6 meters! It is commonly called the "Magic Band"! It is a lot of fun, and as long you have more than 10 foot of wire or 5' and a counterpoise, you are set! Most newer HF radios have 6 meters. Look for me and many others on the USA SSB calling frequency of 50.125 USB Am also doing a lot of SSTV on 20 and 80 meters 14.230 and 3.845. You can see your pictures at http://sstv.remotehams.com I have my K3 and FT-857 Remote radio for remote/SSTV work. See my K3 in action with audio and video at www.justin.tv/wa6lie I also have my radio station remote controlled. To find out more info, and or how to use my station or others, go to www.remotehams.com I hope to talk to you some time from CM96EQ. If you want a QSL card, please include a SASE Look for my loving wife, Mary KG6LGS on 2 meters or UHF
