Clarence "WA6LLR" was my Grand Father He got me into Ham Radio in 1969 I was 12 years old ! He was a firm believer in cw and worked with me untill I was able to send and receive 20 wpm ,once I had passed my Novice, General ,Advanced and Extra class ,Him and I went to the center for the blind in Norwalk Calif to teach cw to the Blind,Clarence retired when he was 63 years old and 5 years later had a stroke he lived untill he was 85 and died from a infection in his legg ,he died March 18th 2004 I will always remember him telling me and all who he elmered
