First licensed in 1972, at age 13. Worked 16 years as a Journeyman Lineman, and am currently employed as a Communications Technician at a power company. My station consists of an Icom IC-7000, Icom IC-746, Icom IC-706, a Heathkit SA-2060 tuner, an LDG AT-7000 tuner, homebrew tuners for 6 mtrs. and the antennas are a 550 ft. flat loop, a rhombic for 6 mtrs. 4 wavelengths per leg, a homebrew 6/2 mtr. quagi (5 ele. on 6, 10 ele. on 2) at 43 ft. and a 17 ele. K1FO yagi for 432. The station is capable of the digital modes, and the bands worked are everything between 160 and 432. I most often will be found on 6 mtrs. chasing grid squares, or waiting for the rare sporadic E openings.
