Greetings from my home QTH in southeastern Michigan,  EN81dw.

My main HF station:
FT-1000MP  Mark V
FT-990
FT-847

Antennas: A4s @ 40 feet for 10, 15 & 20, dipoles for 80 and 40, a half-sloper for 160 meters, Yagis @ 50+ feet on other bands 50 through 450 MHz, plus a couple of Eggbeaters for satellite work.  My station software is Ham Radio Deluxe.

I have been an active ham since getting licensed in 1962 and have held ARRL appointments as EC, SEC and SM.   I enjoy working DX and am currently spending a lot of time on JT65.  I serve on the tech committee of the River Raisin Repeater Assn., am a member of the Monroe County Radio Comm. Assn, and also have the honor of serving as the Director for the Great Lakes Division of the ARRL.   I retired from Motorola in 2002 where I was a Field Project Manager.

I also participate in local community volunteer capacities as a board member of the Lake Erie Transportation Commission and the Monroe County Library System Retirees VEBA Trust.  I am also active on the Monroe County Emergency Planning Team, the Detroit/SE Michigan UASI Inter-op Communications Committee and I chair the Dundee Village Planning Commission.

When not sitting in a meeting somewhere, I am sitting in the driver's seat of my 1981 Corvette.

I hope we have the opportunity to meet on the air.

73,

Dale WA8EFK
