QSL image for WB2UBW

First licensed in February of 1974. I was a Novice then and very eager to get on the air. Saved some money and bought a Hammarlund HX-50A transmitter and used my fathers Realistic DX-150A receiver. I Strung up a dipole for 80 meters and the fun began. I have enjoyed this hobby ever since then. There have been a few years when I was inactive mostly due to unexpected moves for employment. I always found a way to get back on the air.

I have operated from New York, Indiana, Ohio, Texas, and back to Ohio. I now live in Boardman, OH just Southwest of Youngstown. Presently using a Yaesu FT-2000D and a G5RV antenna. I use the MFJ-998 Auto-tuner. As of January 2013 I have started activity on RTTY. I use MMTTY and a W3YY interface. In February I also started using PSK-31 using the Signalink USB interface.

I have made a lot of life long friends in this hobby all over the world. I try to QSL 100% but through the years I am sure I have missed a few. I prefer the real cards but I also submit my logs through LoTW and EQSL.

I love DXing, Building, Repairing, Ragchewing, etc.

If you hear me on give me a call. Good DXing and 73,

Bob
