Active on HF primarily with PSK31 and JT65 with an occasional SSB and CW contact. Most active on 40 and 20 meters. Will be on 15 and 10 meters when the bands are open.
Rig: At home and for portable ops I use an ICOM-7200 HF transceiver. Also in the home shack is a Yaesu G-450A rotator controller, a SignaLink USB computer/radio interface, a Samplex SEC-1235M power supply, a Daiwa CN-801 Forward/Reflected power meter, and a FunCube Dongal 150kHz-240MHz and 420MHz-1.9GHz SDR used for receiving satellite telemetry as well as monitoring the shack's transmitted signal.
Antennas: a homebrew 2 Element 20 Meter Beam, a S9V31 40 throu 10 meter vertical, and homebrew 2 Meter / 70 cm Lindenblads used for receiving satellite telemetry. For portable operation I use a ParEndFed Z 10/20/40 with a custom high power matching unit mounted on a Spiderpole 40 foot telescoping fiberglass mast and a homebrew full size rotatable 20 meter dipole mounted on a MaxGain 38 foot telescoping fiberglass mast.
QSL - I log all QSLs to eQSL. I don't use the bureau or LOTW. I don't collect QSL cards but will gladly send one to you upon receipt of a SASE. International operators, please do not send "Union Postal Universelle" as these are not accepted by the local post office. Please send $1.00.
