I have been a ham since obtaining my Novice license in March of 1978. The FCC accidently issued me 2 callsigns! One was WD4PSA, and the other was WD4RUK. I wasn't sure which one to use but an elmer advised me to use the first one. That turned out to be good advice as I later received a letter from the FCC telling me WD4RUK had been cancelled.
I operate mostly CW and all of the various digital modes, seldom any phone. In the past 2 years I have also gotten into QRP and portable operating with my FT-817ND.
