--------------------------------- --- -------------------------------

WB4SLM is QRV 160m through 10 GHz and I've been a licensed Extra Class radio amateur since the test was administrated by the FCC field office... I enjoy VHF/UHF contesting, weak signal work & chasing some DX on the low bands... I've got early number VUCC on 6m, 2m, 135cm, 70cm, 23cm, 33cm, 13cm, 3cm and several contest awards ... All QSL's Direct, LOTW or Buro, NO eQSL pse !!--

August 1989 I moved to England where I became G0MOS. I had an excellent location and won the plaque for the June 1990 VHF/UHF contest as DX single op. The experience of living in England is one I'll never forget as well as the many life time friends made while living there ...

After returning to 4 land in 1993, I worked for a few more years until being downsized into early retirement. Took a year off and rode my bicycle about 5000 miles. Then went to work in the TV news business ... Injuring my shoulder & editorial disagreements caused me to rethink a mid-life career and I retired completely in 2006 ...

I also operate from three portable locations on a regular basis, one in Clay County near Smackass, NC, EM85da, another from my farm in north Collin County, TX, EM13si & our condo at EM73uj ... PLEASE QSX for the proper grid location..

In addition to radio I enjoy photography and while in England competed on the international stage and now as time permits I go out & "snap a few". When not playing radio, I golf, bicycle, enjoy 1000 yard rifle or 25 meter pistol sport shooting and handling my "snakes" -- 1965 Shelby "Cobra" S/C or 2012 SVT Shelby Mustang GT500 "Snake" and my "Roaring 40" GT40 coupe ..

Besides a life member of ARRL, I'm a life member of the NRA a proud supporter of the Second Amendment, a member of the SCCA and NASA ProRacing ..
