I became interested in radio and electronics at the age of 9. This interest led me to a career in commercial broadcasting, military service, teaching electronics in local high schools and community college, and commercial two-way communications system design and engineering. I came late to ham radio, first licensed in 1983 as a novice in May then Advanced in September. I acquired my extra ticket in March of 1984. I enjoy most aspects of ham radio, but mostly SSB ragchewing.
