Licensed as WN5CON in 1970. New General as WB5CON in 1972. Upgraded to Extra in 1976 while in college.

ARRL member since 1970 except in the late '70s when in college and too poor for the membership dues. Active with ARES, Alcorn County EC and Northeast MS DEC.

Spouse is W5JOR. She earned her Novice in 1988, Tech+ in 2005 and General in 2006.

Enjoy CW, SSB, several digital modes, QRP, homebrewing, restoring antique radios, flying, and sailing. Active on 80 meters through 70 centimeters.
