WB8YYY is the operator of a modest station located in Eldersburg Maryland in the Southeast portion of Carroll County.

Currently my HF antennas are (1) an off-center fed dipole about 60 meters in length, (2) a Cushcraft R5 vertical, and (3) a Cushcraft MA8040 vertical for 80m and 40m which is about 8m tall.

My station consists of a Elecraft K2/100, some QRP rigs and a couple pieces of vintage Heathkit gear. Ten Tec Transverters give me CW/SSB operating capability on 6 and 2 meters.

My ham radio interests include casual operation of several different modes and equipment building. While I do not have a strong station on the air I do appreciate all contacts.
