WB8YYY is the operator of a modest station located in Eldersburg Maryland.

Currently my HF antennas are (1) two element triband yagi  (2) Cushcraft MA8040 vertical for 80m and 40m which is about 8m tall, (3) a MA160V vertical for 160m about 12m tall that is also used on 30/17/12m, and (4)an off-center fed dipole about 60 meters in length.  I am also using a short Beverage receiving antenna approx. 85m long.

My station consists of a Elecraft K2/100, an FT-950, some QRP rigs and a couple pieces of vintage Heathkit gear. Each winter I try to operate my HW16 (1960's rig I used as a Novice).

QRP rigs currently available:

80m Fort Tuthill

40m Cyclone, TT1340

30m  38 Special, NN1G Mk 2 (not built by operator)

20m NC2030 (all SMT parts!)

20/30/40m PFR3

80/40/20/15 HW8 (not built by operator)

My ham radio interests include casual operation of several different modes and equipment building. While I do not have a strong station on the air I do appreciate all contacts. Especially if we have met on the bands I appreciate hearing from you also by e-mail. QSLs are appreciated via the buro and LOTW.  Please email me if I have forgotten to QSL

My ham radio website is located at http://www.qsl.net/wb8yyy
