Click for more detail... I was first licensed n 1983 at the age of 18. Though little interested in ham radio at the time other than operating 2 meters to talk with my father (K5WGQ) and brother (WC5M), I participated in Field Day in 1984. The event yielded one slow speed CW contact, but that contact was enough to stir the interest in CW relating to contesting and DXing. In 1985 I upgraded to Extra class and exchanged KA5SDN for WC5N. Since that time I have operated as W5N, J79T, WC5N/KP4, WC5N/V2, VK9WB, V63BW, and WC5N/PA3. All operations can be confirmed direct (with an SASE for US stations or an SAE with $1 US for DX stations) or via the bureau. DX stations desiring a bureau confirmation can e-mail me at the QRZ.com e-mail address. W5N, J79T, VK9WB, and V63BW are also available on Logbook of the World. Again, send me an e-mail requesting LoTW confirmation as I've not had the desire to manually enter over 19K QSO's into the LoTW system. 73's to all and to all good DX!
