I am excited about participating as a 13 colony event Georgia Station. If you worked my station in 2013 , your card will be processed after this years event. I had a difficult year with my health starting after the event week. I could not talk over a whisper for many months. Email  wd4lyv@arrl.net Especially if you are QRP for a sked.  I want to help more than 1500 stations in 2014. I plan a lot of digital RTTY, JT65, PSK31, and CW to help my voice. As last yearI will be on late nights after 11pm to help western and Pacific Stations beaming west.

I will check my email often this week.

I am honored to participate in the 13 Colonies Special Evvent for the week of July 4th as K2G and my personal callsign WD4LYV. I will have this station active as much as possible each day, helping as many stations as I can to secure their Georgia contact. www.13colonies.info

A goal of more than 1500 stations this year with your help.

This will be a great event in 2014 as we celebrate Independance week.

Starts Tuesday July 1 at 1300z and Ends Sunday July 6 at 0400z Eastern Time.

13 Colony QSL requests for my station K2G - WD4LYV should be sent to my Sycamore address on QRZ. I purchased the cards for my station and know you will enjoy receiving this qsl card. Please include an SASE with your QSL request. Any help with the card printing cost would be appreciated but not required.

God Bless you and your families, God Bless our Troops and God Bless America.

For 3905 Net QSL send card to WM9H Handi Ham Buro for all 3905 net contacts.

I have a Kenwood TS-2000 Radio, and am able to be on the air by using the computer to control all my shack with the trackball [mouse] and on screen keyboard. I use a terrific program from trx-manager.com that gives me full control of the radio. My log software used is Logic 9.

The antenna's include a G5RV 6 - 80, 40,  30 meters, and a Steppir 4 Element Beam at 50 ft.

The hobby has given me a new lease on life as I meet new friends around the world. I only have use of my right hand to use a trackball to control my entire station from bed. I cannot move any other of my limbs at all and enjoy the hobby once again thanks to many who have helped. W4KN Bobby, who is more a brother is my station engineer, taking care of my station.

God has Blessed

I am having to operate from my [ STUDIO B ] or bed lots right now.

Do you have a ham radio auto license plate ? After working all states I thought of having a ham auto tag from each state. Can you help my collection grow? Email if you have a tag, wharrell at arrl.net

I am on the Geratol Net during the seaon on 3.668, and check into the YL System on 14.332 and 3905 century club on 3.902. I enjoy the OMISS net when I can check in.

I can make Turner County available for any county hunters. You can copy me through the International Space Station on packet and hear me from EM81 during 6 meter band openings. I enjoy working QSO Party's and cw as well. Yes CW and cannot use a key, so I use the computer for sending and copy in my head, making notes in notetab in windows xp with on screen keyboard. You can catch me on psk31 and rtty quite often.

I was born October 3, 1949 and have made my home in Sycamore Georgia my entire life. From childhood I've had Fibrodisplasia Ossificans Progressiva, one of the rarest, most disabling genetic conditions known to medicine, affecting only 700 people World Wide. Basically intensified calcium deposits that restrict my joints from moving. With this disease my Jaws are locked shut and I talk through clintched teeth, sometimes causing my audio to sound like there is RF in my audio.

I am in a wheelchair, but enjoy life and people. Not being able to attend college I have studied electronics with the jelp of Mr. Royce Hanner, at home since graduating high school in 1967. Until 1976 I was not in a wheelchair. It was when I had to use the chair I decided to study and get my Amateur Radio License, and received it in 1977. I bought my first computer in 1979, [ the Radio Shack Model 1 ], only 2 years after getting my Amateur license. Since that time I have combined the Radio and computer hobbies. In January 2011 at age 62 I started classes with DeVry University studying Web Graphics Design. I received my Associate Degree in Web Graphic Design in 2013 and maintained a GPA of 3.82.

I enjoy Satellite tracking and communication, SSTV, all the voice, and digital modes. I became involved with packet radio in 1985 and soon there after become acquainted with the internet to stay in touch with the pioneers of packet radio. My station was part of the network on VHF through Georgia to Miami Fl. I was involved with beta testing of several pieces of packet software and several of the hardware manufacturers. I operated a packet bbs and a Gateway to the Internet. I have served as President of the Coastal Plains ARC for several terms as well as Vice President. W4KN http://www.bobbyhobby.com and I are co-webmaster of CPARC Web pages http://www.w4pvw.us .

Amateur radio and computers still have my attention even more than when I started. I spend most days on the air and on the internet.

The most important thing that has helped me through life with my medical problems is being a Christian. Jesus has Blessed my life in more ways than I have room here to share. My web page http://www.wayneharrell.com has more details about my life and how Jesus has Blessed me through the years. I hope to have you visit the link on this page. Visit http://www.comemeetjesus.com as well.

Those wanting to exchange QSL Card can send cards for WD4LYV via my QSL Manager AI4U http://www.ai4u.us . Include an SASE with your qsl request. Stateside and DX contacts are processed by Jeff AI4U. He does not handle WX4PR cards.

Send 3905 Century Club qsl to WM9H http://www.qrz.com/callsign/WM9H?. I also use Logbook of the World at ARRL and encourage everyone to sign up. I still like getting paper cards. I Eqsl as well.
I can work a sked with you in the afternoon and evenings for Turner County Georgia. There are only 3 HF amateurs active in this county.
