Hello, and thanks for looking me up!

I have been a licensed amateur since January 1978. My previous call was WD8PUX.

I retired in July 2007 after spending 42 years in the field of healthcare. 40 of those years were spent in the field of radiology.

I was absent from amateur radio for a number of years and returned to this amazing hobby in February 2009. Since my retirement I now have time to devote to meeting the many wonderful members of the amateur community around the world.

I run a very simple station. My rig is a Yaesu FT-450 running 100 watts to a Hustler 5 BTV vertical (plus the addition of a 17 meter and 12 meter kit) that is ground mounted in the back yard. I have 20 radials under the antenna.

I enjoy DXing as well as working stations here in the U.S.

QSL Information: I QSL via LoTW only! I upload to LoTW every day so confirmation of our QSO will be very fast.

Awards include WAS, DXCC Mixed, DXCC Phone, IARU Region 2 Mixed, Diamond DXCC Challenge.

I fully support the DX Code of Conduct!

73, and hope to CU on the air.

John
