After 14 years in Northern California, my wife, three children, and I finally moved home to rural New Jersey. I currently live in Hunterdon County and can walk to Pennsylvania in 10 minutes. We chose this home for it's remote property and stunning hilltop view. A perfect location for a tower and no pesky HOA restrictions in no way swayed my decision (hi hi). I've only been here for 6 weeks, but I already have a few wire antennas up and a great start on the shack. The tower is here and will be errected as soon as the weather and schedule permit. 

I was lucky to be a part of a welcoming and active club in El Dorado County, CA (www.edcarc.net) as I cut my teeth on the HF bands. I had the pleasure of learning from some wonderful Elmers who have more experience (and years) than two of me. I have spent time in ARES leadership and supported many runs, bike races, etc., so I am very familiar with handling formal traffic and setting up in odd uncomfortable places. My true love however, is chasing DX and Contesting when time allows.

I'm currently learning CW in order to further my 100 watt reach. (By the way, if anyone has an amp they feel like donating, please let me know) I hope to meet you on the air and if I'm calling CQ, please give me a shout. I love to talk with new people.
