QSL image for WF4HAM

I guess my last name & call fits the hobby. A lot of people I talk to kid me about this. I became interested in ham radio after my best friend and elmer (AC4DJ ) showed me how great ham radio is. I also have an Icom-V82 handheld which I think its a great radio. I am mostly on 2 meters in the Orlando area, and enjoy checking in with the various nets.

My equipment for 2m is as follows, for my base I use a Yaesu FT-2400 with a Cushcraft 4 element beam and a Yaesu FT-1802 for my mobile. Most of my my equipment was donated by Howie AC4DJ who bought the non working radios very cheap and repaired them. In the future I am hoping to upgrade my license in the future.

If you hear me on the radio waves don't hesitate to give me a call. You can also catch me on 145.730 simplex with AC4DJ and I'm a member of the Lake Monroe Amateur (LMARS) Radio Club. I also operate a 10m beacon on 28.273.2 running 10 watts into an RIngo at 40ft.

Frequency shared on an alternate basis with AC4DJ

73,

Jon WF4HAM
