Aloha from Honolulu!
My background is computers and the Internet. I received my Technician license in November 2011 and ran from there. I enjoy learning about ham radio. I had no idea it was so vast and complex - always learning something. I enjoy working IOTAs, DXCC, LP DX, Contesting, Chatting, Digital, CW, QSL Cards.....

Hiking behind the house on the hill that blocks my path to N. America (NE), 600ft high. Diamond Head and Waikiki in the backgound.
My Emergency Backup Power running off a 48V Golf Cart Battery System when connected (3-240W Solar Panels, 1500W Pure Sine Wave Inverter, Tristar MPPT-45 Charger, Tri-Metric TM-2025A Meter and various breakers. I have other inverters and deep cycle batteries if needed. If someone were to take something like this and design it like a hard golf bag - they'd be on to something.
