I was born in 1936 in New York City and first licensed in 1994 as KB2RSD, then KG2BI and finally as WM2Z.  I retired in 1994 after 38 years in the defense electronics and software business.  After living on Long Island for most of my life, I recently relocated to Wake Forest, NC.  I enjoy working many aspects of ham radio including rag chewing, DX, contesting, Special Events, mobile and portable operations.  I am an ARRL member, and I am a certified Volunteer Examiner.  My other hobbies include photography, woodworking, homebrew electronics and computers.

I am especially interested in the use of computers in my ham radio station and have a fully integrated system capable of operating phone, CW and many of the digital modes with automated logging and remote operation over the Internet.  All electronic logs, including those from contests, mobile and portable operations, are periodically posted on Logbook of the World, and I respond 100% to incoming QSLs received directly or via the Buro.
