Original license W6KUK over 50 years ago. Later held W7GYM and KL7COV. Also was operator at HZ1AB during the 1980's.

Retired since 1984 after 35 years in Petroleum Engineering and Oilfield operations. Numerous assignments around the world ending in Saudi Arabia.

Since retiring have been active in Ham Radio and Boating. Established and have been a primary control operator for the Northwest Boaters Net (3.865 each morning at 0830 Pacific time). Have made a number of long ocean cruises and cruise yearly up British Columbia and Alaska coasts. Past Commodore of Cruising Club of America. (CCA)
