Qrv 160 - 1296, .. RIGs: (3) APACHE ANANS 100 SDR RADIOS, plus Tranverters for 2/432/222/1296, made by KUHNE and DEMI, I also have  Down Converter for 70mhz and a ICOM R 7000. and ELECRAFT KPA 500 AMP an the Elecraft KAT 500 tuner

For Mobile us I have  wonderful ELECRAFT KX3 with the 2 meter transverter installed !

and a Alinco Djx 2000 wide band all mode Receiver.

 

Been in Ham Radio since the 70's, always had a passion for CW,  and VHF / UHF Weaksignal operations,

My Elmers were KP4DJ Willie Werner, & KP4CH  Tom Banks, Both silent keys, my VHF mentor is Dave  Ternent KP4EOR.

Retired United States Coast Guard, in 2004, Held call signs Wp4dsz, Np4gd in the 70's and 80's.

80's thru 2014, I held the Call Sign WP4O. Catch You on the MAGIC BAND.  QRV 160  - 1296 !

all VHF/UHF AMPS are BEKO amps except for 1296 which was made by DEMI.

SIX METER AND HF SET UP

Station antennas consist of a HEX Beam for HF and dual band 40/80 Bazooka and G5RV and a HF 6 Butternut Vertical.

 

Going to Try 160 meters this Fall and Winter using a slopper.

VHF/UHF ANTENNAS:

432 YAGI is K1FO design, 144 mhz Yagi K1FO design, 222 made by Gulf Alpha., 1296 antenna is a Directive systems Loop yagi. and for 6 meters a 6 ELE Innovo LFA.  I shall be installing a dual band yagi for 50/70mhz in the Fall on my smaller Tower under the Hex beam..
