Jim Davis WV0Q :

I finally got my Ham Ticket in 2011!!!  I was one of those CB kids in the seventies and always wanted to become a Ham.
I am currently working very hard at learning CW!  I just wish my brain would cooperate!
Fort Collins is my QTH and is located sixty miles north of Denver Colorado.  Fort Collins is known for WWV and lot's of micro-breweries!
I actively work SSB, PSK-31, RTTY, JT9 & JT65 on all bands.  Top Band is really tough with my compromised antenna but I try.
I live in a HOA neighborhood that has outlawed all "visable" antennas.  I choose not to accept the rule.
My Station:
ICOM 746 pro
Buckmaster OCF Dipole at 32'
Ameritron AL-811 amplifier if needed.
MFJ 998 antenna tuner
Please QSL:  LOTW, eQSL, Direct or all three!
The shack:
Here is my Buckmaster OCF Dipole (homade air core balun):
Homemade air core balun
My other hobby is a 1974 Triumph TR6:
I work as a Spacecraft Integration Technician for Ball Aerospace in Boulder Colorado.
This is the NPP weather spacecraft that we built and launched in 2011.
