I was originally licensed as N3TKD in 1995 in Annapolis, MD. After moving back to my family's home in Texas in 1998, I managed to upgrade to Extra with my Father's (K5AMU), ahem, gentle prodding. Anyway, a better long-term hobby can't be found IMHO.

Rigs at present are a Flexradio SDR-5000A, a Kenwood TS-B2000, a Tentec Omni D, Alinco models DR-435, a DR-135, and a couple of handhelds/scanners. Antennas are a Hygain 204BA at approx. 60 ft., an M2 5 element six meter yagi at approx. 65 ft., and a Tram 2m/440 vertical at the top, approx. 70 ft.

I'm happy to return all QSL cards I receive DIRECTLY that have a SASE (or monetary equivalent) enclosed. Sorry, but I don't participate in the bureau system.
