The Franklin County EMA ARC is the official organization for amateur radio emergency communications in Franklin County, Alabama. The Franklin County EMA ARC club station is located at the Franklin County EOC in Belgreen, Alabama. Station equipment consists of a Kenwood TS-570S and a Kenwood TM-D700A. The WX4FC APRS weather station consists of a Peet Ultimeter 2100 weather station, a WXTrak, and an Alinco DR-150. WX4FC-7 is the club's APRS digipeater, located on Town Hill in Russellville. The digi runs 50 watts to an Cushcraft AR-2 Ringo at approximately 75 feet. WX4FC operates a network of four 2-meter repeaters across Franklin County: 146.790- MHz in Vina (West), 147.360+ in Belgreen (Central), 147.210+ in Spruce Pine (East), and 147.160+ in Russellville.
