I had worked XT2AEF in March 2011,  March 2012 from the capital of Burkina Faso Ouaga dougou. In February 2013 from Bobodurasso in western XT2. Then in March 2014 worked at Gawa (IK80JH) including 6m near the south western border of this country.

For me the 6m operation from this country was the first trial and the antenna was only a single dipole but I could operate many SA stations and much more EUs. I tried top band too, and could listen to the stations of middle EUs but could'nt get them. The ANT was LW with radials.

The electricity supply in this country was very hard in 2012, there was a day of  supprying only two or three hours a day even in the downtown of Capital but renovating fast today, no problem at all in 2014.

We usualy use mobile to mve, the main roads between major towns are favorable and always being repaired.

Peoples generally gentle and friendly, no signs of  violence except in 2012 Feb. but be careful of your wallet, the same as other countries.

The crimate around Feb, March it's a dryseason. The sun shines every day, the land is dried up and sandy, the temperature above 35C. We can'nt touch a pliears left on the ground.

My home call is JH3AEF and usually living in Osaka Japan. QSL card will be available via Buro or Direct.
