YO2IS, from the "All Home Made Shack", since 1962, start in amateur-radio

in 1957 as YO2-1584 / swl, then  operator at the wellknown  YO2KAB  club.

From 1973 located in a crowded downtown area of Timisoara, KN05ps.

YODXC#42, DXCC sat #33, EME CW 144/432/1296 MHz, DXCC rtty #291

DXCC 1.8 MHz  / QRP /  50 MHz, WAC 432 / 50 / 1.8  MHz, 136 KHz Award

QRV mostly CW on VLF to SHF, CW / RTTY in contests, rarely SSB or PSK31.

In summer 2009 started the use of the IC-7000 'liliput' TCVR, a gift by YO2DM,

Delia, my XYL, celebrating a half century since we have meet as teenagers !.

I like this radio, have used it in more than 150 contests with over 45000 QSO's.

2012 july.Satellite view, no real free horizont or take off !.almost invisible antennas and lot of urban noise.

We are living here since 1973, lot of fun with amateur radio, Contests and DX -ing remain a real challenge !.

Lately got fun with TV-sat 'DX', already got 13 TV-sat's from 4 West to 26 East, not bad for our tiny sky window !.
