Started as radio ham operator back january 11, 1960, so 49 years on the air, almost none stop. Member of the Venezuelan Radio Club for many years and also his board of directors, (BUT NOT ANY MORE) organizer and participant of Aves Is, (YV0),  expeditions 4 times, 1967, 1973, 1979 (YV0AA), last one in the island back 1992 with the very famous (YX0AI), world wide record, 12 bands ,40.000 QSOS,in 85 hours. Member of Civil defense board of directors for 5 years, Vice president and founder of the Venezuelan DX Club for many years, Member of YV4A contest team, Member of Caracas DX Group,Member of Radio Club Margarita, Member of the French DX Foundation, Yasme Foundation, NCDXF, etc. Like contest mainly CQWWDX phone, winner of several trophies for Venezuela and South America. Member of famous YV9AA world wide champs for years. mostly dedicated to DXCC, member of Honor roll for years, my total up to day is 337 countries confirm on phone and Mixed, only missing North Korea (P5). Most of the time on 20 mts 14.193 +/- QRM, very active on PSK31 hunting new countries on that mode. Operate in the past from IOTA SA-35/SA-59/SA-66(now SA-89).
