My QTH is in Caracas at 1150 meters over sea level, my QSL is valid for Miranda State to the Venezuelan states award issued by the RCV (radio club Venezolano) futher info on http://www.radioclubvenezolano.org/

I borned in 1976 and raised in Caracas, I'm married with Penelope since 2006 we are now the proud parents of one son, he's name is Emilio Andres he borned in 2010 and he loves to repeat like a parrot my callsing when he listen me dxing  HI HI. In 2004 I got my degree like Civil Engineer and I have my own company that develope structural projects for buildings in reinforcement concrete and/or steel, besides my career I also own a small business in the telecomunication area.

My hobbies are collecting post stamps, coins and paper money, so if you send me a QSL card you can enclose any of it to my collection (that would be welcomed!!) but my main hobby is the ham radio.

I has been haming since Agust 2004 like YY5EAH (class A), in september 2006 I upgraded my license. My main interest is the Dxing on HF SSB but since Octuber 2009 but time to time I do contest, I`m also active on CW, RTTY and PSK31 for my DXCC, besides this I'm in the chase of:

DXCC, WPX, IOTAs, WAZ, WAS, USA counties, DOK, R oblasts, JA Districts, EA provinces, Italy Provinces, F Dept.

My working conditions are:

Rigs: FT 2000D for HF(main)

TS 2000 for HF and VHF(secondary)

        IC 706MKIIG (movil)

Power between 100W - 200W

Antenna: Cushcraft R8 on the top of a 18 stories bulding  (6m thru 40m)

1/4 wave dualbander vertical for VHF and UHF

For Digital modes and CW:

QSL policy (pse read carefully):

Due to few lost and huge delays in the RX of the QSL's in my box in the Venezuelan postal service, I decided move my RX address to the USA but I answer from Venezuela, for that reason if you send to me a direct QSL with postage, the US post stamps don`t work to me, so if you like to send postage pse send 2 US $ or a valid IRC.

The outgoing QSL from Venezuela always have been worknig pretty well so you don`t have to worry about it the problem have been in the incoming QSL's

I also use the Venezuelan buro that works pretty well them if you are not hurried and don't want to extra money, send your card to me via buro.

E-QSL: sorry, I don't use it because is not valid for DXCC or WPX between others.

both ways would be confirmed as fast I receive your QSL.

UPDATE!!!!! today 04/30/2015 I have received my LOTW certificate, this weekend IK will be uploading all my QSO (included the contest's QSOs) and in the next weeks I will work to register my old callsing YY5EAH to upload theirs QSOs too.

- In 11/27/14 I changed my QSL address in Miami to another one (in Miami too) I will be keeping the old 2 the next two months (until Feb 2015) for those who sent me their card to the old QSL address after that The ONLY QSL address valid will be  the address showed in qrz.com.
