Hi all,thanks for looking up my call sign,

My home base is in Takapau,Central Hawkes Bay,60 km south of the city of Hastings, East coast ,North Island,New Zealand,

Equipment is Yaesu FT-2000 d,Drake L7 amplifier, 1kw..

Antennas for 160 to 10 are,80 meter doublet and 80/160 top loaded 50 foot vertical .

6 band hex beam at 45 feet and also a zs6bkw multi band antenna at 50 ft

5/8 vertical for 10/12 meters

Kenwood TS-2000 and icom ic-910 h for higher bands,

7 element yu7ef yagi for 6 meters at 1kw,2 x 9 element 2m9rs yagis for 2 meters at 400 watts and a single 43 element m2 yagi for 70 cm,s also X 610 vertical for vhf/uhf.

Grid square for home base (Takapau) is RE 89 EX

My work shop is in Waipawa,(Bikefix Racing ltd) which is 35 km south of Hastings

Equipment is Kenwood TS-2000,Kenwood tl-922 amplifier,1kw into a 160 meter multi band sloping loop,up to 80 feet and a ap8a multi band vertical,roof mounted..

3 element tribander (create 318) at 48 feet for 10,15 and 20 meters

1/4 vertical for 10/11 meters and x610 for vhf/uhf.

6 element yu7ef beam for 6 meters.

 9 element 2m9rs yagi for 2 meters at 200 watts

Grid square at work shop (Waipawa) is RF 80 HB

Also operate portable from Pourerere beach (zl2ok/p) from my 25 ft caravan,equipment is Icom 746 pro,1kw from kenwood tl922 or 500 watts from a solid state pa into a ZS6BKW antenna at 80ft and 80 meter dipole at 80 feet

1/4 wave vertical,s for 80 and 160 meters,also 5/8 vertical for 10/12 meters, yu7ef, 6 element yagi for 6 meters and 9 element 2m9rs yagi for 2 meters at 200 watts

,Grid square for Pourerere(zl2ok/p) is RE 89 KV.



I also have a mobile set up, Kenwood TS-2000, 500 watts ,with scew driver DK-3 (Alpine) antenna and Diamond 7800 duel band vhf/uhf antenna.

I also have a field station set up with zl 2gr at Omakere,15km east of Waipawa.Grid square RE 89 JX, and a hf base set up on Great Barrier Island 80 km North east of Auckland City.

Main hobbies are,ham radio,vintage,club moto x (number 35) and deep sea fishing.
