My name is Brian Fields , 60 years old, lic1985 as G4XDJ, in Billingham,north east coast,Now living in the south island of New Zealand for 6 years,and as you can see by the pictures below,its a very special place. I am a retired carpenter,now caring for my wife Barbara "barbs", who has multiple sclerosis,and cannot walk, but always smiles.

My ant's are :

40m Half grounded loop ,which is one sixth vertical and one third sloping,fed with a coax feed at the base of the vertical section,and a return counterpoise, and 800 mtrs of radials. I also have a small stream running directly under the ant, and the ocean 1000 mtrs away, which all helps. The ant works like a big vertical ,with a very low take-off. The ant tunes on 40m-10m.I will be running a ICOM 775dsp ,cw with 50-250 watts. I recently put up a 30m vertical antenna.which is a 7.2m high wire.
