Callsign will be in use from 1 January 2011 to 31 December 2011 , I'll be celebrating 50 years of being a radio amateur. My other calls are ZL1 ANH and ZL1T. Equipment in 1961 was an ex-army transmitter/receiver ZC1 MK2 and a home brew valve receiver.Antenna was a inverted vee on 80m fed with tru-rip wire.Restricted to 80m operation only for 12 months by government regulation . Then another CW test , this time at 15wpm, and a visit from the radio inspector before being allowed access to all ham bands. In 2011 it's a Yaesu FT1000 MKV, SB220 linear with 4 el yagi on 20/15/10 and wire antennas on other bands. Operate SSB, CW, PSK31 and RTTY. Also active on 6m with a Yaesu FT857 and co-linear at 16m high, and a good path to the South Pacific. QSL via Buro, LOTW or direct . Direct please enclose self addressed envelope and US$2 or a current IRC. QSLs will be sent via bureau if insufficient postage is received. No Eqsl.
