Thank you for taking the time to view my profile on QRZ.com. I have been a Radio ham for a few years now and still find the hobby to be very interesting in all aspects. My QTH is in the friendly city of Port Elizabeth on the South East coast of South Africa. The city revolves around the motor industry in a large way as we have the Ford, General Motors and Volkswagen manufacturing plants nearby. The Addo Elephant park is nearby and worth a visit when coming to Port Elizabeth. My radio at present is FT 950 for phone work and an IC7200 for Digi modes. I have a SteppIR beam up at 20 meters for 40 thru 6m as well as two separate inverted Vees for 40 and 80. There is a 17m band 3 element monoband beam at 9 meters high. My XYL is ZS2CR and she works when ever there is a chance. The IRLP Node used here is 8662 and it is on a repeater frequency so it can be accessed while mobile. Compliments of PEARS. Regarding QSL cards I will answer all direct QSL cards promptly if sufficient return postage is included ie $2.00 US or an IRC. I also answer bureau cards but they can take a bit longer It's your choice If paper cards are not your choice then LoTW does a great job If you alter your card I do not reply And for those that gripe I do not make a business out of it. My best regards Mitch ZS2DK
