My name is Tom (operator name) and I live in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape,South Africa. My ham interest started in 1993 whenI wrote the exam and got my restricted licence ZR2EC, in 2000. I applied to upgrade and got the call ZS2EC. From there IstartedDX and Digital modes.

I stay in a apartment complex and is restricted with antennas!

My Station consist of the following:

Transceiver: Yeasu FT450 (Phone only) . Mainly used for DX.

No linear, 100 watts only.

Antenna: OCF (Off Centre fed Dipole) Homebrew at 10Meter. Erected behind 25M building.

Digital modes: I used Kenwood TK80 at 50W using same antenna.
