DO not answer me if u can't do the trouble to answer me via E-QSL

I hear u calling ON the Digital modes and i answer u everytime .

My station consist of the following

Kenwood TS-870 running 100watts

Digital station is TK-90. Most of the time i play ROS and JT-65-HF 50-100 watts

Amplifier is Heathkit SB200

Coax is Shuner and hardline to the dipoles at 20mtrs agl. I hear very good but the QRM in Europa must be terrible cos some stations really have trouble receiving my 400 watts.

When i move to the new QTH i will install a TH3 Junior

I am situated on top of a mountain with a lovely view over the valley. No not the one in the picture , thats a place where i sometimes go and work.

I wo

Speaker is SP-230 and a 10 inch subwoofer to listen to musical tests.

Powersupply is PS-30 with battery backup

Tuner is Daiwa CNA 2002

Antennas is 80/40 mtr dipole , soon i will add a 30 and 20 mtr to it .

For the higher bands i use a HyGain AV-640 vertical

I am very active in digital modes and have made over a 1000 contacts on ROS digital mode.

Download it from http://rosmodem.wordpress.com/ and join in one of the most exciting and advanced digital modes ever designed.

I also love to take KTM 525 EXC into Mountains with Icom 703 and go to a Mountain and play radio.

Here is the Giraffe special basically a modified Hustler antenna with a 1.5mtr whip. its been modified even more and nearly 4 mtrs long. Not for highway use but perfect for use in the KNP where speed limit is only 50 km.

No that is not really mounted on the bike , for field use i prefer a 30mtr wire to tune with Icom 703 .

The 4x4 got Kenwood TS-50 in with a few HF antennas and a 30mtr lenght of wire for use via the tuner when i parked at night , Always attach a few earth wires onto base of antenna and connect one to the water pipe system

Got myself a new kenwood TK-90 for mobile and/or digital use , still deciding where i want it , probably will want two hi hi.

Not over crowed with buttons and hidden menus and perfect for mobile.

I am very clued up with rebuilding the hustler antenna into a MUCH better antenna, yes ofcourse it becomes longer , but i get it to work on 10,11,12,15 20 and 40 mtrs . 10,11,12 is using capacitance tophats only that can fold open /close

.

working 80mtr is possible but results aint good, Some may say i get fantastic results , yea sure buddy.

My OLD callsign

I love building antennas and have one of the best signals out on 40mtrs MOBILE in South Africa.
