LoTW USERSplease note: This call account was amalgamated by a staff member at ARRL and consequently included in the ZS1AFS LoTW account.
So I am uncetain if ZT1T will/can be confirmed by LoTW. I was told, by email, that only one call sign could be assigned in LoTW to a person, not two.
As a consequence, confirmation of qsl for ZT1T is recommended by direct qsl, until I am officially advised to the contrary. No eqsl or QRZ.com log.
The call was raised originally in 2010.It was active from December 2013 until 12th Night of Xmas. ZT1T is now QRVon 12m and 17m!
The next perioid of activity,Easter 2014, will mark the abandonment of our sailing yacht Spraydust. It was our home for many years.
Sue, ZS1AFR, is back on the air for YL contacts.
For a pre-arrangedcontact please use email address for ZS1AFS.
QSL cards need to include 2 green stamps. See also, ZS1AFS.
Logs are emailed to LOTW infrequently (up to six months late) due to poor terrestial Internet at my location.
The ZT1 prefix is a unique prefix at the time of issue and currently there is only one ZT1 station in South Africa.
This is a permanent call for use at the station of ZS1AFS and ZS1AFR. It can be opersted by visiting hams with a copy of current licence.
Also, it is used for celebrating special events. Visiting amateurs who bring a copy of their current licence may operate this call.
The qsl cards show the yacht Spraydust that had to be abandonned mid-South Atlantic in February2011.
The call is always usedduring December, until the twelfth day of Christmas, to celebrate another Christmas after our mis-South Atlanticrescue. Also, the call is used at Easter every year.
