FOR ALL OTHER PERSONAL CONTACTS with me (AJ4JD): I QSL 100% - No S.A.S.E. required. The way I see it -- If you're kind enough to send me a card, then I'll reciprocate the favor. I also now accept eQSL and LOTW. If you send via eQSL, I would appreciate also Direct or LOTW for ARRL awards as eQSL is not accepted for these awards.

I've been a HAM for a little over a year now and absolutely love HF. I particularly enjoy the contesting side of things. I also love the digital modes as well. You can catch me on most of the made bands (10, 15, 20, 40, or 80) and either PSK31 or Olivia. I am also found locally on the 145.470 repeater here in the Knoxville area.

We have a pretty nice HAM Family here. My wife, Robin, is an Extra class and her call is AJ4IJ. Our daughter, Ashby, is a General class now and her call is KJ4EGJ. Robin's mom and dad are both HAMs as well. Their calls are KU4ME and KF4SSI.

Listen for us on HF and on the local FM repeaters here in East Tennessee. We now have a wire in the air and hooked to our  ICOM IC-756 Pro.We have a homebrewed OCF Windom Dipole at 30'. This runs into an LDG AT-200 Pro Auto Tuner and allows us to work all bands 80 - 6. Unfortunately, we do not have 160 Meter capabilities at this time, but one day we will have an antenna that will do 160 Hi Hi.

The Shack

Robin and I have both become members in the PODXS 070 club and The European PSK Club (EPC). So keep an eye out for us on the waterfall. We hope to catch you there.

For more information about our adventures in HAM radio you can check out my blog http://aj4jd.blogspot.com and/or Robin's blog http://aj4ij.blogspot.com. Feel free to leave us comments and let us know what you think.
