Base station antennas: 40m vertical Quad Loop multiband DX antenna, vertical polarization at 14m elevation, fed with balanced 100 ohm twin coax, CWS 2:1 balun and remote LDG AT-11 autotuner; short and medium range 40m horizontal Quad Loop at 3m elevation with LDG 4:1 balun; multiband NVIS antenna T2FD HF dipole at 4m elevation with 12:1 balun feed and rf choke unun; YAESU FM-1-4S remote coaxial switch and ½" Heliax cables with Polyphaser lightning arrestors connected to a dedicated grounding grid. Experimental antenna: 3.5 MHz vertical coil loaded quarter wave ground image. Capacitance hat element with 50 ohm feed point grounded to independent subsurface ground mesh fed through 1:1 choke unun and RG-213 buried coax. Project start date: February 21, 2010.
